Working to stop the sexualization of our children in school and public libraries.

Bonnie Wallace Is a fierce and dedicated Protector of Children from Sexualization in Public Libraries. She has served as vice chair of the Llano Library Advisory Board. In the brutal local battle, Bonnie has worked tirelessly to shine a light on the sexualization of Texas children coming from documented pornographic, pervasively vulgar, and sexually explicit materials in our taxpayer-funded community and public-school libraries. Bonnie believes that these materials rape the minds of children and open them up to unspeakable pain and tragedy. Thus, Bonnie has worked to help communities organize and coordinate efforts to protect the children within local school districts, cities, and counties. She was a strong supporter of HB 900 which passed last session. But Bonnie will tell you there is much more to do to eliminate this material in every library in Texas because local officials are too weak and cowardly to address the problem. Bonnie believes the state of Texas has a compelling interest to intervene and protect Texas children.
